The third eye chakra is the centre of clear vision and awareness. It is closely linked to the pineal gland, which is located in the middle of the brain at the height of the eyebrows. This is the chakra of wisdom, of seeing both with physical as well as non-physical vision, and of understanding and intellect. Here resides  our intuition and our perception of the world, ourselves and life as a whole. This is the chakra we receive guidance from as well as where our imagination stems from, and where we make meaning on everything inside and around us.
